applications using CERT?

As a personal interest, is anyone aware of a list of applications that
use CERT RR's in some way?

Especially, are there any S/MIME compliant mailers with support for
fetching S/MIME certificates from DNS?

Of course, I'd like to know if Gnus http://www.gnus.org/ is the first
one, since I've been adding support for S/MIME and certificate lookups
from DNS to it.
