I assume you were tired when you wrote this. I think you really meant to write: $ORIGIN example.com. example.com. IN SOA ... IN NS ... IN NS ... www IN A 1.2.3.4 * IN MX 10 mail mail IN A 2.3.4.5 H(www.example.com.) IN NSEC3 ... H(example.com.) A RRSIG H(example.com.) IN NSEC3 ... H(*.example.com.) SOA NS RRSIG H(*.example.com) IN NSEC3 ... H(www.example.com.) MX RRSIG
